Who am I
My name is Gustavs. I'm from Latvia. Four kids, wife, and a business that never sleeps. For 12 years I built businesses. Now all my focus is on one: bringing European greenhouses to America.
It started with my father. We were a city family yet we built a greenhouse together in his backyard, and he's now spending his pension enjoying growing and pickling food. His greenhouse is about 15 years old now. Hard winters, hot summers, he washed it twice, and it's still standing.
I'm not American. Before I came here, I knew America from the movies. But if I, non-American, can build this business here, I believe the people who live here can do it even better.

In Europe, almost every second family has a greenhouse. Our grandparents started it. Sixty years ago there wasn't enough good food in the stores, so they grew it at home.
Then the stores filled up. The old greenhouses needed fixing every year, and people gave up. About 15 years ago that changed. Greenhouses started coming as kits you build once, and you don't fix them every spring. People had it in their roots, so they went back to it.
America is where Europe was then. People here are worried about what's in the food in the stores. The best-selling thing in the whole American garden market is the garden bed. People already want to grow. They just don't have the product yet.

I don't want to sell this through Walmart or Home Depot. I don't want more money to go to corporations. I want money to go to people in towns: a garden center, a shed lot, someone with land, someone who likes to sell. Online, people buy a greenhouse without ever touching it. In your town, they walk in, stand inside, meet you. That's easier. My English isn't perfect. If yours is better, you'll sell this better than me.
